Can't God Afford a Newsgroup?

Again I'm surprised that God, of all people, can't seem to afford his own
newsgroup. Aren't you missing a good, violent clinic protest or an
Inqusition somewhere?

netiquite, and a good slap for violating these sorts of rules is in order
(otherwise we would be bogged down in theology of the non relational type)
and I will be the first to I give most anyone who posts porn or ads in our
group a black eye, but attacking what is likely to be the faith system of at
least a some of us here is probably not the way to go. And I am not just
saying that because of how I believe, I would be just as annoyed at people
lobbing hurtful statements if this was any other person who was
proselytizing any sort of faith system.
There are plenty of newsgroups devoted to discussion of religious topics, so
let's not turn this into a place where we have to get all argumentative
about a subject that is clearly going to get a more than few of us mad about
non-database design religious items.
Here's a topic: surrogates vs natural keys, now, fight amongst yourselves.

Unless of course he was espousing the virtues of surrogate keys, in which
case this would be *precisely* the forum for discussing it. If, on the
other hand, he was partial to those heathen natural keys that are "descended
from apes", and are known to get drunk/gamble/kick puppies, this would
definitely not be the place to discuss it.|||"Stefan Berglund" <keepit@.in.thegroups> wrote in message

Religious wars, programming discussions, what's the difference?|||A big difference. We can all agree to disagree about technical issues, and
only one certain person with curiously ironic initials would belittle a
person for their technical beliefs in the way that people made fun of this
person's faith. And that tends to people of a like mind quite .

Now this is interesting. Who was belittled for their "technical beliefs" by
this "only one certain person with curiously ironic initials", Dr. SQL?
BTW, probably 99.99999% of people could care less what you worship or how,
as long as you don't harass them with it. I'm sure that people who "are of
a like mind" surely must appreciate the attempts to convert them to be "of a
like mind", even though they are already "of a like mind". But if you want
to preach to the freakin choir, find yourself a
church/tabernacle/temple/mosque/coven/protest/family reunion, or wherever
those "of a like mind" with you tend to congregate.
